Common questions

When do you deliver?

After you check in. We coordinate a time that works for you — usually within a few hours of your arrival. If you have early access or remote entry (smart lock, lockbox), we can set up before you arrive.

When do you pick up?

The day before your checkout. This ensures we can retrieve equipment without any access issues. For stays of 2 nights or less, we'll coordinate directly.

What if something doesn't work?

Text or email us — we respond in under 15 minutes. Most issues can be fixed remotely. If not, we'll come fix it in person, same day.

Will it work with my laptop?

Yes. We include both HDMI and USB-C cables, which cover 99% of laptops. Mac, Windows, Chromebook — all work.

What if I need to cancel?

More than 48 hours before delivery: full refund. 24-48 hours: 50% refund. Less than 24 hours: no refund (equipment is already packed).

Do I need to set anything up?

Nope. We handle everything. When we leave, you just plug in your laptop and start working. That's it.

Are you a short-term rental host?

Help & Troubleshooting

Quick fixes for common issues. Most problems are solved in under 2 minutes.

⚡ Try These First (Fixes 80% of Issues)

1. Reseat cables — Unplug and firmly reconnect HDMI and USB-C on both ends
2. Check monitor input — Press Input/Source button, select HDMI
3. Reset the dock — Unplug dock from power, wait 10 sec, plug back in

🖥️ Monitor Says "No Signal"

  1. Make sure the monitor is powered on (check for power light)
  2. Ensure the dock is powered (indicator light should be on)
  3. Reseat the HDMI cable on both ends — unplug and plug back firmly
  4. Press the monitor's Input or Source button and select HDMI 1 or HDMI
  5. Unplug the USB-C cable from your laptop, wait 3 seconds, plug it back in
  6. Restart your laptop while the dock is connected
💡 Most "no signal" issues are caused by the monitor being on the wrong input. Press the Input/Source button first.

🖥️🖥️ Only One Monitor Working (Dual Setup)

  1. Confirm both monitors are turned on
  2. Check that both HDMI cables are connected firmly
  3. Make sure both monitors are set to the correct input (HDMI)

On Windows:

Right-click desktop → Display Settings → Click "Detect" → Set to "Extend"

On Mac:

Apple Menu → System Settings → Displays → Arrange
💡 Make sure "Mirror Displays" is OFF if you want to use both screens separately.

🔌 Nothing Happens When I Plug In USB-C

This usually means the dock needs a reset. Try these steps in order:

  1. Unplug the USB-C cable from your laptop
  2. Unplug the dock from power
  3. Wait 10 seconds
  4. Plug the dock back into power
  5. Reconnect the USB-C cable to your laptop
💡 This "power cycle" fixes most dock issues. The dock needs power before it can communicate with your laptop.

🔋 Laptop Not Charging Through Dock

Some laptops don't accept power delivery through third-party docks. This is normal and doesn't mean anything is broken.

Solution: Just plug your regular laptop charger directly into your laptop. The monitors and other peripherals will continue working through the dock.

⌨️ Keyboard or Mouse Not Working

  1. Make sure they're plugged into USB ports on the dock (not the monitor)
  2. Unplug and replug the USB cable
  3. Try a different USB port on the dock
  4. If wireless: check that the USB receiver is plugged in and batteries aren't dead

💻 Quick Display Shortcuts

Windows — Extend or Mirror Displays:

Press Windows Key + P → Select "Extend"

Mac — Arrange Displays:

Apple Menu → System Settings → Displays → Arrange
💡 "Extend" gives you separate screens. "Mirror" shows the same thing on both.
